Building up Chinese Primary Teachers’ Key Competences through a Global Competence-based Framework

Face-to-Face training in Northwest Normal University

The second stop of the face-to-face training tour is Northwest Normal University (NWNU) in Lanzhou. 30 trainees, who are university lectures and in-service primary teachers, have participated in the face-to-face training.

The activities proposed intend to encourage different types of grouping, active participation, as well as a depth reflection on the teaching and learning process. Besides adapting the teaching plans within a competence-based approach, the blended training (both online and face-to-face) aims to foster the implementation of meaningful, deep and lifelong learning.

Once more, thanks to all trainees for attending the face-to-face training. Additionally, TKCOM partners are thankful for NWNU and NTU members’ work to make this training possible.
