The Seminar ‘International Scenario of Teacher Education within a Competence-Based Approach’ was organised by the partners from the University of Barcelona in order to disseminate the TKCOM project within the scientific commuity and teacher students. This seminar was divided in two parts (check the programme):
In the firts part, TKCOM partners presented the project. Additionally, we discussed and compared other theoretical frameworks developed within other Erasmus+ projects. At the end of the first part, we discussed the challenges and barriers of competence-based education in teacher education.
The second part aimed to listen to teacher students’ voices. During this part, the participants reflected on their competence development and to what extend the education and training the teacher students are receiving allows them to develop these key competences. Finally, we concluded the session indicating what the future steps and hot points are for competence-based education implementation.
